PRF skin rejuvenation in North Strathfield
PRF skin rejuvenation is the next step on from PRP: your own blood, prepared without additives so it keeps a natural fibrin scaffold that releases growth factors slowly after it is reintroduced to the skin by fine injections and microneedling. Nurse-led at Derma Regen Clinic, and always planned at a complimentary consultation first.
Why the slower release matters
PRP delivers its growth factors quickly; PRF holds them in a fibrin matrix and releases them over days, which is why some people choose it for a deeper, more sustained regenerative effect, particularly in the under-eye area and for skin that needs more support.
- Full face sessions run about 90 minutes and treat by injection and microneedling in the one visit.
- Everything is prepared from a single small blood draw, on the day, in front of you.
- Whether PRP or PRF is the better fit for your skin is worked out honestly at consultation.
Pricing
PRF full face (injection and microneedling) is $500, about 90 minutes. PRF under-eye is $350. Where a course genuinely suits your skin, a 4-session skin rejuvenation program is $1,500, agreed at consultation. Prices are as published on our live booking page; the consultation is complimentary.
Comfort, downtime and aftercare
With numbing, most people find PRF very manageable. Redness on the day is expected, with possible light swelling or small marks settling over the following days. As with any clinical procedure there are risks and recovery considerations, explained plainly before you decide, and aftercare is kept simple. Changes build gradually over a course and results vary from person to person.
Should I choose PRP or PRF?
It depends on your skin, the areas you want treated and your budget. PRF releases growth factors more slowly; PRP is the established starting point. The complimentary consultation compares both honestly for your case.
How soon will I see a change?
Regenerative treatments work on the skin's own timetable, so think weeks and a course, not an overnight shift. Your nurse sets realistic expectations, and results vary.
Is there downtime?
Plan for a flushed day and possibly a few days of light swelling or small marks, especially under the eyes. Aftercare and event timing are covered at your consultation.
