Cosmelan peel in North Strathfield
Cosmelan is a professional depigmentation program for melasma and stubborn pigmentation: an intensive in-clinic peel followed by a structured, guided home-care phase that does much of the real work. At Derma Regen Clinic it begins with a complimentary consultation, because pigmentation needs proper assessment before a program this committed.
A program, not a one-off peel
The in-clinic mask is only the start. Cosmelan works over months, with a prescribed home-care routine that keeps pressure on the pigment pathways while your skin renews.
- Designed for melasma and pigmentation that has resisted lighter approaches.
- Your commitment to the home phase genuinely matters; we are upfront about that before you spend the money.
- Suitability, and whether a gentler path should be tried first, is assessed at your complimentary consultation.
Pricing
The Cosmelan program is $1,500, including the in-clinic peel and the take-home phase, about an hour in clinic. The price is as published on our live booking page; the consultation beforehand is complimentary.
Comfort, downtime and aftercare
Expect real downtime in the first week: redness, tightness and visible peeling as the skin turns over. It is manageable with the aftercare provided, but it is not invisible, so timing matters. Daily sun protection is essential throughout the program, and honest expectations are set at consultation: melasma is managed rather than cured, and results vary from person to person.
Downtime is real and worth planning for. After the in-clinic peel most people have visible peeling, flaking and dryness for roughly two to three weeks as the skin renews, which is a normal part of how the program works. Your nurse explains the full aftercare and home-care routine before you start, so you can time it around work or events. Results build gradually over the program and vary from person to person.
Will Cosmelan clear my melasma?
Melasma is generally managed rather than cured, and anyone promising otherwise is overreaching. Cosmelan can meaningfully soften its appearance; your nurse will be honest about what is realistic for your skin. Results vary.
Why does the home care matter so much?
Because pigment pathways need consistent pressure over months, not one appointment. The home phase is where much of the change happens, so we only recommend Cosmelan to people ready to follow it.
How booking works
