Concerns
Acne scarring
Acne may be long gone, but the scars keep telling the story. The good news: different scar types respond to different, specific techniques, and at Derma Regen Clinic in North Strathfield your scars are mapped individually at a complimentary consultation before any plan is suggested.
Not all scars are the same
Ice-pick scars are deep and narrow; rolling scars are tethered from beneath; boxcar scars sit somewhere between. Each behaves differently, most faces have a mix, and that mix is exactly why a one-treatment-fits-all offer disappoints.
How we approach it
Plans are built scar by scar: TCA cross for ice-pick scarring, subcision with PRP for tethered, rolling scars, and regenerative support such as PRP skin rejuvenation to back the skin's repair between sessions. Scar remodelling is gradual, plans run over months, and results vary from person to person; you will get an honest read on what your scars can realistically do before you spend anything.
Frequently asked
Can acne scars be removed completely?
No, and you should be cautious of anyone promising that. Scars can be meaningfully softened over a planned series, and your nurse will show you what is realistic for your pattern of scarring at the consultation.
I still get breakouts. Can we treat scars anyway?
Active acne usually needs settling first, sometimes with medical help, and your nurse will say so honestly. Treating scars on inflamed skin is rarely the right order.
How booking works
Consultation-first, always
Your care is designed to respect TGA and AHPRA guidance, with the same high standard of service throughout. For any medical aesthetic concern you start with a consultation, so your plan is built around you, honestly and in person.
